Positive Pay
Check fraud, and the people who commit it get more advanced every year. As an extra layer of fraud protection, clients can use our positive pay service. Whenever you distribute checks, you send us the check numbers, dates, and dollar amount. Before we clear each check, we will compare them against the list and make sure everything matches. Any checks that don’t match the list will be sent to you in an exception report for you to verify or decline.
Reverse Positive Pay – Sunwest also offers Reverse Positive Pay wherein we present a daily report to you of all checks that were deposited, and you decide which ones to pay and which to return.
