Sanya Allmaras
EVP, Director of Operations
Sanya Allmaras is the EVP, Director of Operations at Sunwest Bank. Ms. Allmaras joined Sunwest in 2018 and leads the operations teams dedicated to providing exemplary customer service and supporting client relationships through the delivery of innovative products, services, and delivery channels. This includes deposit and loan operations, electronic banking, retail and special deposit operations, lockbox processing, product and service development, and project management.
Before Joining Sunwest Bank, Ms. Allmaras held various leadership roles at several different community banks, including First Interstate Bank, Bank of the Cascades, and Home Federal Bank. She has extensive experience in bank operations and risk management. Over her 26- year career, Ms. Allmaras has executed many transformational strategic and tactical initiatives, including acquisitions, divestitures, and core banking system conversions.
Ms. Allmaras earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a minor in Leadership from the College of Idaho. Ms. Allmaras is also a 2016 graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School. She has been honored as both a Tribute to Women and Industry honoree (2006) and Women of the Year honoree (2022) for her leadership and contributions to the banking industry.
