Sanya Allmaras is a creative problem solver and banking executive with experience in deposit operations, loan operations, electronic banking, project management, retail banking operations, fraud investigation, security, compliance, and risk management. As the EVP, Director of Operations at Sunwest Bank, Ms. Allmaras leads the operations team with a focus on supporting the processes and team dedicated to external client relationships and product delivery channels. This includes deposit operations, electronic banking, loan operations, retail, and special deposit operations, lockbox processing, project management, and product and support development.
Before joining Sunwest Bank, Ms. Allmaras held various leadership roles at several different community banks, including First Interstate Bank, Bank of the Cascades, and Home Federal Bank. She has extensive experience in deposit operations, loan operations, electronic banking, project management, retail banking operations, fraud investigation, security, compliance, and risk management. Over her career, Ms. Allmaras has executed many transformational strategic and tactical initiatives, including acquisitions, divestitures, and core banking system conversions.
Ms. Allmaras earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a minor in Leadership from the College of Idaho. Ms. Allmaras is also a 2016 graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School. She has been honored as both a Tribute to Women and Industry honoree (2006) and Women of the Year honoree (2022) for her leadership and contributions to the banking industry.
