Sunwest Bank Recognizes Action Property Management
as “Client of the Quarter”

Sunwest Bank is pleased to announce that its “Client of the Quarter,” designation for the third quarter of 2009 has been awarded to Action Property Management, a California community association management firm.

Improving the Quality of People's Lives isn't just Action's mission statement, it is the motto the firm incorporates into everything its people do each day. "Today's residential communities face a whole new range of divergent issues, brought about by changes in technology, lifestyle and the workplace. Residents expect more than copycat, one-size-fits-all programs from community management firms," notes Robert Diemer, Chief Executive Officer of Action Property Management.

According to Glenn Gray, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sunwest Bank, "Action Property Management was selected as our Client of the Quarter based on its ability to set a true standard in the residential property management industry through its aggressive business plan, as well as Action's commitment to employee training."

In just the last five years, Action Property Management has experienced substantial growth, including adding to its portfolio to become the largest manager of residential high-rise communities in California. The firm currently manages 160 properties and 50,000 homes and anticipates adding an additional five high-rise communities during this year.

In addition to rigid hiring procedures, Action Property Management requires its employees complete the Core Courses through the California Association of Community Managers (CACM). In addition, managers are required to attend two hours of Continuing Manager Education every month. This formalized training covers specific aspects of association law, insurance, vendor management and other important areas of association management.

Sunwest Bank has been doing business with Action Property Management since 1996.

Founded in 1984 by Jan Lhotka, Action Property Management exclusively manages community associations, including single-family homes, walk-up two-story condos and high-rise communities.

In addition to training and educating its managers, Action Property Management hosts several Board Leadership Seminars throughout the year. At each seminar, Action’s Executive Team provides valuable information to better equip Board Members in their important roles serving their communities.
